The language has its origins in Spanish, Norman French, Arabic, and Italian. It sounds very beautiful to hear but rest assured, you can converse with the locals in English.

Everyone knows everyone

Malta is a very small location with a population of only 431,453, as was recorded in 2017. Malta has tight-knit communities in every village feared everybody knows everybody, and everyone knows what’s going on in each other’s lives. If you need or require any kind of advice, just ask one of the locals. If the person you have asked is not able to help you, he or she will direct you to someone who can. This is a great manner to get your problem solved quickly. Drive in the shade

This is possibly a slight exaggeration regarding the Maltese heat, but you may notice that driving in Malta is slightly erratic. Be prepared for anything when you’re on the road. If you are waiting on the curb for a stop sign, it does not mean that other cars will stop and let you cross. Do not feel offended if someone beeps or horns at you. They may be trying to indicate that you are in their way, you are in the wrong location, you should speed up common should slow down, etc. It may also be used as a friendly greeting. Have plenty of time for shopping

Be prepared to wait whether you are preparing to pay for milk or waiting to get your bill sorted. People love chatting in Malta. If the cashier decides to talk to the person he or she is serving, he or she will talk regardless of the length of the queue.
